DeltaFSD is a development currently underway to provide an alternative approach to design and implementation of embedded, real time applications.
It is at an intial - "proof of concept" - stage. With a design framework in place ready for application testing.
The aim is to provide a graphical programming tool which can be used to set the overall structure of a program - to provide a Function Sequence Definition - whose output can be used for embedded applications.
To meet the resource constraints of real time application the FSD is designed to be fed to a small, fast execution engine. The graphical definition tool incorporates an execution engine so that programs execute as you define them.
To ease program development the graphical definition tool includes its own excution engine so the programs are created on a "live" system.
